Pakistan captain Fatima Sana has signed for Vancouver Anchors for the 2026 Canada Super 60, which will be held from 29 September to 4 October.
The franchise announced the signing on its official social media accounts, describing the 24-year-old bowling all-rounder as a marquee addition to the squad.
“The marquee announcement you’ve been waiting for. Fatima Sana is ready to make waves for the Vancouver Anchors this season,” the caption of the post read.
The move comes a day before Sana is expected to become the first Pakistan women’s cricketer to feature in The Hundred. She is in line to make her debut for Birmingham Phoenix against Southern Brave in Southampton.

Sana joined Phoenix after taking the fourth overseas spot vacated by Australia’s Lucy Hamilton, who was withdrawn by Cricket Australia to manage her workload. The Pakistan captain will earn the competition’s minimum salary of £15,000.
Her signing followed an impressive all-round display in Pakistan’s narrow defeat by South Africa at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Sana scored an unbeaten 55 from 38 balls before returning figures of 3-16, although South Africa secured a two-wicket victory.
Sana is the third Pakistan player to secure a contract in this year’s Hundred. She joins Usman Tariq at Birmingham Phoenix, while mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed was signed by Sunrisers Leeds for £190,000 at the tournament’s auction in March.
